You Can Make the BEST cup Every Time
FREE, Ultimate Guide!
My love for coffee began 9 years ago…
And it has only gotten stronger!
Hey friends, I’m Phil, the Barista coffee dude, and let me share with you my top 9 reasons why I’m crazy about coffee.
9 Reasons Why I Love Coffee - And Why You Should, too!
Why 9? Well, since I’ve been in the coffee industry for that length of time, might as well tell you these 9 reasons i love coffee
And here they are!
2. The coffee industry is a whole lot of fun.
It was in 2008 when I first entered the coffee industry.
I got a job as a barista, working behind the bar and meeting lots of people each day.
As a barista, it helped me grow my network, made plenty of friends, and it’s just amazing. People who’d come from out of town would swing by and ask me if I could make them a cup of coffee.
It’s pretty awesome to do something for these folks!
3. I’m baffled by how much goes into a $3 cup.
Just think about the long and tedious process involved just to make a cup of coffee…
How many hands work together to grow, ship, roast coffee beans.
There is a long and lengthy process that the perfect brew goes through, and that’s what makes it VERY special.
5. Coffee is Ratatouille for me almost every time
A certain smell or taste brings back memories of your childhood, teen, and not so distant past.
That’s what coffee does to me.
I remember the time when my dad and I would hang out and grab a cup of coffee and donut.
It’s awesome how these memories come alive each time I smell coffee. I bet some of you can relate to that and remember something special when you enter a coffee shop and inhale all the amazing scent of roasted coffee beans.
6. Each coffee bean is different.
Now every coffee aficionado would agree that coffee beans are not created equally.
Robusta and Arabica taste different from each other, and there are numerous sources of Arabica with tastes and smells that vary from each other - Colombia, Brazil, Uganda, Ethiopia, etc.
It’s like getting to know the unique personalities of each coffee bean, and that, to me, is very fascinating.
7. Coffee making involves a lot of innovation.
When you go to a coffee shop and look at the menu, you’ll be amazed how coffee comes in different kinds.
You have your espresso, your cappuccino, your latte, etc, etc.
You can also find coffee combined with different spices and herbs, and these impact the flavor, texture, and aroma of each cup.
The extensive ways of preparing each cup is also innovative and you can never run out of new coffee to try.
P.S. I make my wife the BEST cup everyday with a Chemex and she LOVES it! How awesome it would be if you could do the same to your loved one and make him or her extra special each time.
8. The history of coffee is so rich and interesting.
I’m not ashamed to say that I am a coffee nerd, coffee history nerd too!
I just love to learn about coffee - how it started, its history, and all that stuff!
Did you know that the coffee in America began way back in the 1700’s??
I can go on and on about it but I’ll spare you the geek moment. All I’m saying is the fascinating history of coffee is another reason why I love coffee - and I have done plenty of research and even wrote about it!
Who knew coffee would enhance my fondness of history?!
9. Coffee enlivens me - and I want to share it to the world!
See, it’s not just the buzz I get from drinking coffee.
It is just something that I am very passionate about, which is why I continuously learn about it - innovations in coffee making, how to make the perfect coffee each time, grinding techniques, and so on, and so forth!
In fact, I’ve written a coffee making guide that is pretty much the basics of how you can turn yourself into a pro coffee maker - by just following the steps I have explained in the guidebook.
Check it out right here.
